John was a member of Archbishop Carroll’s 1st “Washington DC City Championship Football Team”. I remember playing basketball in grade school against John in Gonzaga’s gym. We played football at Carroll for Tuffy Leman’s and Moss Collins. After he got married he bought the house next to my parents in District Heights, MD. My youngest son and his son became good friends and went to high school together. they still keep in touch. I coached one of his daughters in basketball when she played at LaReine HS. We all miss the big guy!
