Joe was a member of Archbishop Carroll’s 1st “Washington DC City Championship Football Team”. I met Joe when we played JV football for his dad and uncle. There are many great stories that can be told about all of us during those years at Carroll, but that is for a later day. I met up with Joe years later when I was coaching at McNamara HS and Joe’s boy was playing for LaPlata HS. He was a good friend and we miss him.
