After graduation from U of M, worked for Washington Gas Light in DC until I received Military Draft notification. Was able to enlist in USAF before Draft in May 1966. Married to Jan (from ACHS days) in July 66. Commissioned as officer in Oct 66. 26 mostly great years in USAF in engineering. Retired out of Hickam AFB, HI as Col in 1992. Worked as team leader for 1993 and 1995 Defense Base Closure Commissions. I later served the 2005 Defense Base Closure Commission as the Director of Review and Analysis. Held various senior positions in private sector A-E firms between 1995 and 2008, retiring from Parsons, out of the Dulles IAP Capital Construction Program. Since that time I have worked on several on-call investigative assignments with the Surveys and Investigations staff of the U.S. House Appropiations Committee. In April 2012 I turned down the latest S&I offer and working toward BRAC support efforts. Currently serving as Senior BRAC Consultant to The Principi Group in support of the State of Florida efforts to preserve military value of 20 installations.

School Story:

Graduated University of Maryland (College Park) January 1966 (BS, Civil Engineering). While there on swim team for two years and member, and President in 1965, of Delta Tau Delta fraternity).
Graduated San Jose State College September 1968 (MS Environmental Engineering) through USAF.
Have been active in Alumni organizations from ACHS, UofM Engineering, and DTD (Until Frat kicked of Campus in 2008 due to Hazing :(
